This year, two fresh faces are joining Salsa Grand with a brand-new Mambo Partnerwork Bootcamp! Nando from the Netherlands and Margarita from Greece bring their youthful energy, charm and playful approach to dancing to Zagreb – and they’re inviting you to become part of it.
Over 6 hours of intensive On2 training, you’ll learn a complete partnerwork choreography combining their signature playful and romantic style with funky, upbeat elements – all leading up to an optional performance during the Saturday night shows.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The experience starts even before you arrive in Zagreb.
COME PREPARED
Before the festival, you’ll receive an instructional video with the footwork, giving you time to learn and practice it in advance. That means more time together in Zagreb can be dedicated to what this bootcamp is really about – partnerwork, details and bringing the choreography to life.
6 HOURS OF PARTNERWORK TRAINING
Across three sessions, Nando & Margarita will guide you through the complete choreography, with a focus on partnerwork, body movement, musicality, connection and presentation.
Expect their recognizable mix of playful and romantic dancing, combined with some funkier and more upbeat moments that bring extra personality to the choreography.
PERSONALIZED COACHING
This is more than simply memorizing combinations. Throughout the training, you’ll work on the smaller details that make partnerwork look and feel better – from movement quality and timing to expression, musical interpretation and how you present yourself as a couple.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR FESTIVAL WEEKEND
The sessions have been scheduled so that you can take on the bootcamp challenge without missing the key moments of your Salsa Grand experience.
AND THEN… TAKE IT TO THE STAGE!
After six hours of preparation, bootcamp participants will have the opportunity to perform the choreography during the Saturday night shows at Salsa Grand.
Stepping on stage is completely optional. If performing isn’t your thing, you can still join the full bootcamp, challenge yourself and enjoy the complete training experience.
