For dancers joining us in Zagreb, Dmitri adds another strong musical layer to the Salsa Grand experience. As both a DJ and a passionate social dancer, he understands the floor from both sides of the booth and knows how to read the room, build the energy and create the kind of atmosphere dancers remember.
Dmitri first discovered salsa in 2002, which soon inspired him not only to dance but also to start collecting music. After years of building his collection, that passion naturally led him to DJing, making him one of the first salsa and Latin DJs in Jordan.
Since then, he has played at various international festivals and became a regular DJ at the popular Monday and Tuesday salsa socials in Dubai, two of the biggest salsa nights in the UAE.
Known for his mambo and mixed salsa sets, Dmitri has built a strong following across the regional dance community. And when he is not behind the DJ booth at Salsa Grand, there is a good chance you will find him exactly where he feels at home – on the dance floor.
